Green Energy Transition Tool
Commissioned by Klaipėda Science and Technology Park
Delivered as an external AI agency build for the EU co-funded DigiTechPort2030 project. Summit Studios was commissioned to design and build the tool, not to act as a project partner.
A decision-support web application that helps small and medium-sized ports plan green-energy transition scenarios with traceable calculations, role-based workflows, and plain-language AI interpretation.
Port teams enter structured data on operations, energy use, and equipment. A deterministic engine calculates baseline energy, emissions, cost, and a green-transition Port Score using the project's Green Energy Technology Compass method. The interface then models conservative, optimal, and risky transition pathways with adjustable investment, electrification, renewables, and time-horizon assumptions.
The build includes KPI dashboards, CO₂ trajectory charts, energy-mix views, a priority heatmap, financial projections, validated data collection, anonymised cross-port benchmarking, a GDPR-conscious data model, an admin module for reference data, WordPress integration, handover documentation, and long-term maintenance.
